Jack and Grace
Jack Sexton and Grace Carr are considered two of the finest potters in the Carolinas. With their background and experience they can create almost anything in the world of pottery. The showroom is always being updated with recent creations which brings many return customers looking for their latest work. Because Jack and Grace add a decorative flair to practical items, their pottery makes an ideal gift for family and friends.
Jack and Grace also teach pottery. Students can learn the basics of wheel throwing or hand building. JS Pottery provides all the clay, glazing and kiln firing that the student's work requires.

Classes
One of the great things about pottery is that you can learn to make it, too! Taking a pottery class with us is a fun, relaxing treat for anyone.
We teach our method of turning - one that Jack developed over the past twenty-plus years.
Our objective is to give the student what he or she expects from a class. Some are serious about potting; some just want to get a feel for from where pottery evolves. From beginner to advanced, young to old, we welcome any student who's eager to learn.

Showroom
JS Pottery is pleased to offer a showroom with many examples of their fine work located inside the City Cafe restaurant in Mount Holly, North Carolina. Group visits and wheel demonstrations are available at City Cafe.
Tour buses are accomodated and the restaurant is handicap-accessible.
